RN HEALTH & WELLNESS COACHING
Coaching at Fostering Wellness blends the best of traditional Health and Wellness Coaching with the specialized framework of Nurse Coaching. My approach weaves in functional nutrition practices and draws inspiration from yogic philosophy, creating an integrative experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
Each coaching partnership is dynamic, individualized, and holistic. I collaborate closely with every client, recognizing that you are the expert in your own health and wellness journey. My role is to provide support, guidance, and a safe space for exploration—so that you can become the true agent of change in your life.
As a registered nurse, nationally board-certified Nurse Coach, and Registered Yoga Teacher, I offer a unique bridge between Eastern and Western philosophies of healing. My decades-long yoga and meditation practice have taught me to listen deeply—to the body, the breath, and the quiet wisdom within. I believe this innate knowing exists in all of us, waiting to be heard and honored.

What is "NURSE COACHING"

Nurse Coaching is a skilled, purposeful, and results-oriented partnership between a Registered Nurse and a client, designed to help clients achieve their personal health and wellness goals (Dossey, Hess, et al., 2013). Nurse Coaches work with the whole person—integrating the body, mind, emotions, spirit, and environment—to promote balance, healing, and well-being. This approach focuses on strengths, not shortcomings, and empowers clients to recognize their own capacity for change.
As a Nurse Coach, I provide guidance, support, and resources, but you remain the expert of your own life. Together, we explore your goals, values, and inner wisdom to create meaningful, lasting transformation.
At its heart, Nurse Coaching is about partnership—built on trust, respect, and a deep belief in your ability to grow and thrive. Every interaction is client-centered, collaborative, and non-judgmental, honoring you as the leader of your own wellness journey.

YOGA
Fostering Wellness proudly partners with Inspiring Actions Yoga Studio, where I teach regular yoga classes as a contractor and offer a variety of specialty classes and workshops.
My intention is to cultivate and share a yoga practice that honors the true roots of Yoga—recognizing that what I practice and teach is not my own creation, but a sacred gift and guide for life. Yoga is far more than physical movement (asana); it is a holistic path that unites body, mind, and spirit.
The practice we know today has traveled thousands of years and thousands of miles—from ancient India and Northern Africa to the modern West—passed down through countless teachers and traditions. I hold deep gratitude for these teachings and continue to learn about and reflect on cultural appropriation in Western yoga, striving to minimize it within my own practice and teaching.
I love teaching Gentle and Mixed-Level Vinyasa classes that connect breath and movement in a mindful flow. Both the philosophy and physical practice of yoga are powerful tools that can support and enhance any of the Five Pillars of Health and Wellness—helping to create strength, balance, and inner peace.

WORKSHOPS
Fostering Wellness Workshops are inspired by the Five Pillars of Health and Wellness and are thoughtfully designed to engage, educate, and empower participants in specific areas of well-being. Each workshop blends evidence-based information with practical, hands-on tools that attendees can easily integrate into their own lives.
Workshops often include supportive wellness practices—such as yoga, mindfulness, or nutrition-based activities—to help participants build their own personalized health and wellness “toolbox.”
I offer workshops through Inspiring Actions Yoga Studio, local Community Education programs, and private sessions. Private workshops can be hosted in the yoga studio (rental fee applies), in homes, workplaces, or even outdoors in nature.
